We would like to share some advanced formulas and strategies that we use to regroup students in Google Sheets. We will be focusing this session on mastering the formulas, VLookup, Countif, Countifs, CountA, Index/Filter, and Unique. These can be intimidating to many, but being able to implement them efficiently will make data disaggregation more effective.
This session will be geared towards Administration and Coaches who deal with / disaggregate student data. We will demonstrate how to use these formulas to compile student data quickly. We will show mock student assessment data from various fake resources and teach attendees how to use these formulas to get all of this data in the same place, and in a way that it can be used to drive decision making.
We want attendees to walk away with some new ways to think about data driven decision making, and the resources to be able to do it.
Imagine opening up a Canvas/LMS class to see a personalized home screen. Connected to a scrollable Google Slide that lets you see what the agenda is for the week or for previous weeks. if you scroll down on that home screen you have quick image links that take you to different parts of the course like the syllabus, frequently visited websites, or certain modules within the course. Making your home screen (and course overall) more engaging and visually appealing to your students. These are some of the things that educators will learn how to create via the Google Suite and Canva and then embed into their Canvas courses.

Khanmigo was built for educators by educators as an AI-tutor for students and an assistant for teachers. Khanmigo simplifies your workflow while keeping your work and your student data private and secure. For students, Khanmigo challenges them to think critically and solve problems without giving you direct answers. This session will provide an in-depth demo showcasing the power of Khanmigo, while actively engaging the audience in conversation about the impacts of AI in education. I will focus on Khanmigo's ability to help with teacher efficiency and how students are provided a one-to-one tutor that helps walk them through their learning experience without giving them the answer. This is focused on showcasing the resource and not partnering with districts. We have several partners already across the state and the intent is centered on educating.
Enhance your read-aloud sessions while integrating key concepts of digital citizenship, technology tools, and computer science. Rope in strategies to support students as they learn about abstract concepts such as responsible online behavior, screen time, and basic coding skills. Ride away with ideas to blend literacy with essential technology topics and required Indiana standards. This session is for all teachers of K-5 students.
