In this session, we'll go through the basics of finding a video in Edpuzzle (whether they prefer to find a video lesson that's already created in Edpuzzle, screen record their own video, or pull in a YouTube video), editing it to add assessment questions, assigning it to students, and then, the most important part — how teachers can utilize the data for formative assessment and make informed decisions to see which students or content areas need more support. We'll also focus on how Edpuzzle can be used meaningfully to increase engagement and student autonomy and save teachers valuable time. Participants will be encouraged to follow along and create a video lesson during the session to use with their students following Indiana Connected Educators (we will have time during the session for teachers to dive into the platform). This session will be appropriate for new and experienced users of Edpuzzle, as we'll highlight lesser-known features along with new features added this year.
