We will explore:

-The 18+ question types Quizizz offers (and give a chance for attendees to play some of these questions)
-Quizizz AI (showcasing how teachers can plan for assessments, lessons, interactive videos and reading passages in seconds with our new AI tool)
-Accommodation Profiles (showcasing our new accommodation profiles, which help teachers comply with IEP's and 504's directly in the Quizizz platform)
-The vast Quizizz library of teacher-created content

The idea is to give teachers the resources they need to start using Quizizz as soon as the session is over in their classroom. Since Quizizz is a free-mium platform, features that are free vs. paid will be explicitly expressed, focusing mostly on the free features. Attendees will be invited to stop by our booth if they'd like more information regarding the paid features.

Recently I was contacted by BookCreator folks, and they, knowing that I use their project extensively, asked if I would be interested in presenting at ICE. I demonstrated to them that we currently use Book Creator in ways that most educators/students don't (at least, in my opinion): "app smashing" - AR, VR, AI within the program + collaboration with a school overseas.
During the conference, several tools that would make these electronic books alive. During the first part of my session, I will show various examples of student projects, and during the rest of the session, the attendees will be able to create their own little projects: they will generate 3D self avatars and import them in to MyWebAr program to make them interactive.

I plan to go over a few HTML tricks on Canvas such as popup button, columns, headers, drop downs, and a pop up box. I will provide a take home guide with these codes and how to use them. I also will go over how to leverage embedding in canvas with websites such as quizlet, canva, and padlet. My hope is teachers learn a few tricks that will greatly enhance how they deliver their online instruction.

*Leveraging ChatGPT for Content: Learn how to use ChatGPT to generate and refine content for choice boards, ensuring that the material is engaging and appropriate for your students.
*Exporting and Sharing Creations: Understand the process of saving and exporting your creations to platforms such as Seesaw and Canvas. Learn best practices for sharing these resources with your students to facilitate seamless integration into your existing curriculum.

Session Activities:

*Hands-On Canva Workshop: Participants will engage in a hands-on workshop where they will create their own choice boards using Canva. This practical exercise will allow attendees to apply what they’ve learned in real-time.
*Interactive Demonstrations: The session will feature live demonstrations of Canva’s AI tools and how to effectively use ChatGPT for content creation.
*Collaborative Discussions: Attendees will participate in discussions to share ideas and strategies for implementing UDL principles and student choice in their classrooms.
